Love for Bones

October 31st is the Mexican Day of the Dead! (Dia de los Muertos) - to celebrate I created a number of pieces for the delightful Latin American restaurant, Besos Latinos!

Viva la Manawatu - Square Edge Gallery, Palmerston North

Had a great time in Palmerston North meeting the folk at Square Edge Community Arts and helping to install my new exhibition - Devotion - as part of the Viva la Manawatu Festival. A two month long arts festival devoting to Latin American culture, the festival celebrated the Argentine rugby team who played a couple of Rugby World Cup games in the area. Palmerston North even re-named some of its streets for the occasion - including Gaucho St!

I'm fascinated by religious grottos and niches at the moment.....here are some of my works incorporating my love of this medium!

Argentina holiday

I'm swapping Auckland humidity for an Argentinean summer as I'm off home this week for a few months to see family and friends. I've been working on some new art over the last month, influenced by Mexico and Renaissance art.
