Hola, I've moved house and finding things along the way - in both the old house and the new - I've been inspired by material that recreates the folk art presence of my ex votos. Take a look at my latest work:

Great day at Kraftbomb

Yesterday I was at Kraftbomb in Grey Lynn - thanks to all who bought paintings! I'm currently using a new technique painting on flat cotton which I've strengthened and treated. These take less time to dry and give me more flexibility to experiment with different stories and textures.

I'll be selling my ex votos at September's Kraftbomb in Grey Lynn, Auckland!

This market has been running since 2008 and is a favourite for crafty Aucklanders!

Yesterday's craft market went well - thanks to all who braved the road closures, Auckland's dodgy weekend weather and to those who brought their Dads along for Father's Day! Hopefully we'll see you all again at next month's market.

New ex votos!

I've been busy working on new paintings for tomorrow's craft market in Devonport. Come along to 32 Clarence St, 10am to 2pm! Here's a selection of what I'll be selling.

Retablos are Latin American devotional paintings which commemorate events that are worthy of thanking  the saints for their protection and for their good deeds.
